About this site

This site offers a small set of free tools for the files people are least comfortable uploading: PDFs with personal details, ID photos, and photos with hidden location data.

Every tool runs in your web browser. When you choose a file, the page reads it and does the work on your own device. The files are never sent to a server, so there's nothing to delete afterwards and nothing for anyone else to see.

Who runs it

UploadSizer is a small independent site. Questions, corrections and suggestions are welcome by email at hello@uploadsizer.com.

How to check that for yourself

• Load a tool, then turn off Wi-Fi or mobile data. The tool keeps working, because it never needed to send your file anywhere.
• In a desktop browser, open the developer tools (F12), choose the Network tab, and use a tool. You'll see the page loading its own files, but no upload of yours.

How the site is paid for

The site is free and shows ads from Google. Ads are kept away from the buttons and file pickers so they're not clicked by accident. See the privacy page for what the ads do.

Accuracy

The passport and visa photo sizes come from official government pages, which are linked from the tool together with the date they were last checked. Requirements can change, so always check the official page before you submit an application.

The tools are provided as they are, without any guarantee. Check every file before you rely on it.
